Есть лес, что тайной наделён,
За городским он скрыт холмом,
И даже звери стороной
Обходят лес тот мимо.
Зловещий мрак всегда царит
И смерти дух над мглой парит

Величием лес извечно манит,
И страхом каждого пленяет.
Ветвей тернистое плетение
В душе тревогу зарождает.
И ходят слухи: злая сила
Лес от гостей оберегает.
Поверье издавна гласило:
Там призрак ведьмы обитает.

Раскаты грома разрывают
Небо, померкшее над лесом
И свет дневной не проникает
Сквозь замкнутую толщу веток.
Не властны здесь людей каноны
Пред ликом дьявольской природы.
И коль ведет сюда дорога -
Смерть ожидает у порога.

Раньше лес тот был укрытием
Ужасающих событий.
Только свет пленится тьмой,
Стражи порядка творят беззаконие.
Ставя себя выше всякого Бога,
В жизни свои порядки наводят.
Пугая девиц непокорностью власти,
Местных красавиц в чащу уводят.

Тела юные лаская,
Свою похоть насыщая,
Жертв своих не убивали,
Лишь невинность отбирали.
Сосны скроют те пороки,
Гнилых дел их не запомнят.

Красотою свела одна девчонка с ума,

Ведьме, в убийстве страшном обвинённой.

Три ночи велись поиски народом со всего села.
Гремели вилы, топоры, и вот свирепая толпа
На ветхую избу в глубинах чащи набрела,
И на закате солнца ведьма была схвачена.

Мало знало, что та ведьма -

Что предана была гонениям
За чудотворное лечение.
Она сгорала на костре
И через боль всё повторяла,
Что им вернётся всё втройне
За зло, что та не совершала.

Зловещий мрак всегда царит.
Он смерть забредшему сулит.

И вот.. предсказание сбылось.
За коварную ложь
Смертью в адских мученьях
Им всем воздалось.

Одного за другим
в лес судьба привела.
В плену древесных корней навсегда их тела.

Лес наполнился тьмой
и всех грешных людей
Зазывал за собою туманной тропой.

Лишь туда их дорога
