- Hard to Please
Maybe if you came about
Maybe if you turned this ship around
If you waited this one out
And just put your head down
[Chorus]
Oh, in your dreams you find out
Though it's not quite how you remember
- I Was Made For Sunny Days
I went to the market,
Though it was threatening rain.
I was late to the station,
Swore I'd missed that train.
And the streets filled with umbrellas
And we all looked the same.
But I'm the one whose waiting
'Til the sun comes out again.
- Love Doesn't Last Too Long
I watch the sun go down, I watch the sun go down. Then i wander around, then i wander around. It's here, then it's gone. Love doesnt last too long. Didnt' even have time to get it straight in my mind, to catch up from behind, to see that i was blind. And i wish i was wrong, but love doesnt' last too long. All you lovers in the dark can forget what i said. 'Cause it still goes on in my heart, and it still goes on in my head. Rivers to the sea, rivers to the sea. How it is right now it how its always gonna be. It's here, then it's gone. Love doesnt' last too long. I watch the sun go down, i watch the sun go down. The i wander around, then i wander around, then i wander around.
- No Trouble
I don't need no trouble
But sometimes trouble needs me
I don't need no trouble
But it's plain to see
Sometimes trouble needs me
A couple of my friends, and a couple omnivores

- Painting By Chagall
Thunder rumbles in the distance, a quiet intensity. I am willful, your insistence is tugging at the best of me. You're the moon, I'm the water. You're Mars, calling up Neptune's daughter. Sometimes rain that's needed falls. We float like two lovers in a painting by Chagall. All around is sky and blue town, holding these flowers for a wedding gown. We live so high above the ground, satellites surround us. I am humbled in this city. There seems to be an endless sea of people like us, wakeful dreamers, I pass thme on the sunlit streets. In our rooms, filled with laughter, we make hope from every small disaster. Everybody says "you can't, don't try." Still everybody says that if they had the chance they'd fly like we do.
- Please Speak Well Of Me
I've been away a year and a day
You recognize love after the fact
You did what you did and that was that
[Chorus]
Don't say words that you don't mean
When I'm gone, please speak well of me
- Sunflower
When the sky is grey
Hope just hides away
I'll be your sunflower
When you can't stand up
Even love is not enough
I'll be your sunflower
I shine for you
You know I'd do
- Take It From Me
What can i compare you to, a favorite pair of shoes? Maybe my bright red boots, if they had wings. Funny how we animate colorful objects saved. Funny how it's hard to take a love with no sting. But come on take it, take it from me (we've got a good life). What can I compare you to, a window the sun shines through? Maybe the silver moon, a smile rising. THe magic of the fading day, satellites on parade. A toast to the planes we've made to live like kings. I lose my breath despite the air. When the rain falls down, I give in to despair. Pink magnolia in winter, she doesn't care if you don't show up to have another cup. What can i compare you t, when everything looks like you? I get a bit confused with every Spring; flowers tha bloom your eyes, hummingbirds side by side. My heart won't stay entirely in this rib caging
- Wild Boy
If you were every wild boy and I was every pretty girl
We'd pass in the park, a temporary carnival
In our town, we light fire for rain
In our town, we light the fires again
Cause every ship at sea deserves a harbor, don't I know it
No little tree alone can make an arbor, don't I know it
You're the kind of drink that makes each lonely girl
