- Headless Horseman
I got hit hard, I'm on the ground
And if you swing again I'll duck
But I wish you the best of luck
You deserve yourself
And I'll return from my trip to hell
As a headless horseman
Cause, oh what a loss
- I Am Bored
You tore a hole so deep my leak poured out torrentially
But now I'm bored
My bloody flow is slowed so I can be bored near you
Oh, what a loss
It didn't show its head until mine was torn and thrown at you
And back it grew
- I Felt Your Shape
I thought I felt your shape but I was wrong
Really all I felt was falsely strong
I held on tight and closed my eyes
It was dumb I had no sense of your size
It was dumb to hold so tight
But last night
On the birthday in the kitchen
- i lost my wind
You will know where to find me
if you ever catch your breath.
I'll be down here when you need me.
Down right underneath where you lay your head
and drift away out the window.
Where I used to meet you
when my head was in my chest
and I slept and I knew where I should be.
- I Want To Be Cold
it's raining on me, i don't want it to stop
i don't want to breathe anymore
i want soggy ground, i want to feel my feet in the sand
i want water to rise and to cover all the land
i want to swim til my arms give out and i come to an end
i hope it happens soon i can't deal with feeling this bad
i want to be cold
and i want it to snow so bad
- Ice
the heat came down and breathing got clear
there was water in your hair
and the sun came out, we had to get back in
the fog burned off and finally i felt near
sunlight made reflections on your skin
to the place i like to stay but the year went on and it got too cold to swim
so i stayed beneath as the water above me froze
from under the ice i saw you in warm clothes
- Karl Blau
blue moon
waded out past the waves swells
where we all floated helpless
and he told us to stop treading water
he sang about the sand
where we could all touch our feet down
he held out his hand
with his tipped back he sang loud
- My Roots Are Strong and Deep
my roots are strong and deep
i'm swaying in your breeze
my limbs stretch out to meet you
you've got me on my knees
i stand tall
my feet are on the ground
but compared to you i'm small
the things you need you just surround
- Oh Anna
anna and ollie they were roasting up a tofu pup the backyard
says ollie, "oh, we're all out of buns but, isn't this fun?"
they they they they were spread upon the lawn drinking lemonade and eating cheese
and later on, beneath the black sky the night erupted there for free
oh anna, take me in with water arms surround me, blow your breezy charms around me
oh anna, you're a house of many rooms and all the secrets deep entombed within you,
i know a few
says anna "ollie, oh, I know a place where you can dive between my peaks into the blue.
- The Gleam
quiet beach/soaked through and through
feel on my waist your wet hand
surprised we both survived
later, our burning bodies made a glow
and we rose as smoke/and then as a puff of ash
we drifted out over the sea where it hurts to much to look/it hurts to try and see
at that point we could just step into the gleam
(aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwweeeeeeeessss)
- The Glow
the blow came down from the hills
followed by snow
ohhh ohh
the snowy blow
i could feel far off the glow
and i made my way through
september and the next, month
- The Moon
I drove up to the city at night and found the place
Where you grew up and then where you stayed
And we walked around and stayed up late under city lights
I spent the night, next to you in the house where you grew up
Next to you I miraculously woke up
In your parents' house I laid in bed with you
I went back to feel alone there
- V. Universe
now that i have disappeared i have my sight
beautiful black you are unvailed
now you're mine
so let my voice bellow about you silent night
and let my voice echo out from caves and mines
you have a bright disguise
mountains and light
but universe i see your face in blackest night
- Weird Storm
Weird storm passes over town.
Everyone looks up and runs.
First there are flashes far away
slowly getting close.
Then the blue/grey light covers us up.
Next my favorite part:
Thunderclouds roll in
blocking out the sun.
- Where It's Hotter pt. 3
Summer's come and now you're gone.
You went to where it's hotter.
I left Olympia too.
I went north for the water.
Swimming everyday, I wanted you to be here for that.
So I'll come and pick you up
And we'll go swimming on the way.
