А дети в городе Левиттаун
В подпол спускались, прячась там,
Ждя, пока советские корабли
С Кубы ракеты увезли.
Под ясным солнцем октября
Так с детством распрощался я:
Столько друзей шло в ад войны.
Вновь воевать за что должны?
Дочь моя и я, мы добрались,
Там, в тех краях найдя взгляд добрых лиц.
Он дочку рассмешил, мы обнялись.
Не знал, как буду другу рад,
Пока не прибыл в Ленинград.
