Она выходила на EP так и названном 'Joe Preston' - это серия мини-альбомов каждого из участников состава The Melvins данного временного периода выпущенная конторой Boner Records (причем идея - прямая отсылка к аналогичной задумке группы Kiss) - и содержащем, кроме самой Hands First Flower, также два достаточно коротких трека - невнятное двухминутное интро The Eagle Has Landed (содержащее звуки какого-то семейного праздненства на открытом воздухе) и двух с половиной минутную Bricklebrit (разговорный сэмпл в начале, более традиционный рифф и ужасные программированные ударные коими будет 'славиться' все будущее творчество Джо в его сольном проекте Thrones). Интересно, что кроме самого Джо Престона, в составе указаны также некие Solty Green и Denial Fiend, но это не более чем псевдонимы Престона.
Hands First Flower начинается с семпла из фильма 'Апокалипсис Сегодня': 'Pyle... Little arms'.

The composition was performed by Joe Preston himself (Joe Preston), who at that time (1992) was a member of The Melvins as a bass player.
She went on the EP the so-called 'Joe Preston' - a series of mini-albums of each of the members of The Melvins of this time period released by Boner Records (and the idea is a direct reference to a similar idea by Kiss) - and containing, in addition to Hands First itself Flower, also two fairly short tracks - the indistinct two-minute intro of The Eagle Has Landed (containing the sounds of some kind of family festivity outdoors) and two and a half-minute Bricklebrit (a conversational sample at the beginning, a more traditional riff and terrible programmed drums which will be famous for 'all future work of Joe in his solo project Thrones). Interestingly, in addition to Joe Preston himself, the composition also indicated some Solty Green and Denial Fiend, but these are nothing more than Preston's pseudonyms.
Hands First Flower begins with a sample from the movie 'Apocalypse Today': 'Pyle ... Little arms'.
